We produce battery packs for high power applications such as Particle accelerators and grid

We provide specific solutions to ensure high power accompanied by high voltage for long times, so a great advantage compared to solutions with super/ ultra capacitors.

Our lithium battery packs are designed to ensure high power, so the ability to deliver a large amount of energy in a short period of time.

In practice, this type of battery pack can provide a significant performance advantage over other energy storage solutions. They can deliver a large amount of energy in a short period of time, making them suitable for high-power applications such as particle accelerators. In addition, they can maintain this high power for a longer period of time than other solutions, making them ideal for applications that require a large amount of energy for extended times, such as the grid, as well as the electricity distribution network that interconnects electricity generators to end users, such as homes, buildings and industries.

To make this possible we choose between two types of lithium batteries: LTO and LFP.

Lithium titanate (LTO) lithium batteries

Lithium titanate (LTO) lithium batteries are a type of lithium-ion battery that uses lithium titanate as an anode. Here are some of the technical specifications of LTO batteries:

  • Rated voltage: 2.4 V
  • Specific energy density: about 30-60 Wh/kg
  • Specific power density: about 1,000-2,000 W/kg
  • Life cycles: up to 20,000 charge/discharge cycles at a discharge depth of 80
  • Charging time: about 10-20 minutes for a full charge, depending on battery capacity and charging current
  • Operating temperature: -30 C to +55 C
  • Safety: LTO batteries are considered to be among the safest lithium-ion batteries as they are less prone to overheating, explosions and fires than other lithium-ion batteries.

LTO batteries are often used in applications where long life, fast charging and increased safety are required. Technical specifications can vary depending on the specific application for which they are designed. We make them together with the customer according to his needs.

Lithium iron phosphate batteries (lifepo4) are a lithium-ion battery technology that uses electrolyte composed of lithium salts dissolved in organic solvents. Below are some common technical specifications for LFP lithium batteries:

  • Energy density: 90-120 Wh/kg
  • Rated voltage: 3.2 V
  • Lifetime: up to 2,000-5,000 charge/discharge cycles depending on operating conditions and manufacturer specifications
  • Self-discharge rate: 2-3% per month at 20 C
  • Charging temperature: 0-45 ºC
  • Discharge Temperature: -20-60 χ C
  • Safety: less prone to combustion than other lithium batteries
  • Environmental Sustainability: do not contain toxic heavy metals such as lead or cadmium and are maintenance-free
